Fate/Zero watch order
Every Fate/Zero season, film and special in the order it was released: 2 entries (2 TV seasons), 2011 to 2012. The TV seasons add up to 25 episodes.
Updated , when release dates were last checked.
The most common advice is to watch Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014) first, then Fate/Zero. Fate/Zero is a prequel, but it was written for people who already know Fate/stay night.
Other orders
Starting with Fate/Zero follows the story's timeline and works fine, but it gives away things Fate/stay night keeps hidden. Heaven's Feel (three films, 2017 to 2020) is a third route through Fate/stay night, best watched after Unlimited Blade Works. Fate/Zero Remix (recaps) and the Einzbern Consultation Room shorts are extras, so they aren't listed; every Fate series is on the Fate watch order.
Release order
Oldest first, by the date each entry first aired or opened in cinemas.
